About the Role
Deloitte offers an exceptional platform for professionals aiming to make a significant impact in the evolving global economy. Joining the Enabling Area – Information Technology team, you will contribute to developing and sustaining applications that enhance employee experience across South Asia.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to identify challenges, elicit business requirements, and define effective functional solutions.
- Document and maintain comprehensive Business Requirement Documents, Functional Specifications, user stories, business rules, process maps (As-Is and To-Be), wireframes, and acceptance criteria.
- Examine current business procedures to discover automation potentials and propose scalable technology solutions for operational improvement.
- Conduct impact assessments, lead solution walkthroughs, prioritize requirements, and obtain stakeholder approval.
- Work alongside Product Owners, Architects, Developers, QA teams, and business users during the entire software development lifecycle to ensure project success.
- Define and document integration requirements spanning enterprise applications, APIs, and workflow platforms.
- Support user acceptance testing, manage defect resolution, oversee production deployments, and validate post-implementation results.
- Champion AI-driven business projects by identifying use cases, capturing AI-specific requirements, and upholding AI governance and ethical principles.
Required Skills and Expertise
- Proficiency in business analysis and requirements gathering with expertise in creating BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Skills in process mapping and redesign, including As-Is and To-Be analysis, and business process automation.
- Experience in stakeholder and client relationship management, functional solution design, impact analysis, and enterprise system integration, especially APIs.
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall project methodologies.
- Ability to carry out functional testing and user acceptance testing using tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, and ServiceNow.
- Advanced capabilities in Microsoft Office applications: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of AI and Generative AI technologies as applied to business process transformation.
- Experience with AI use case identification, prompt engineering, and AI-assisted requirements analysis.
- Knowledge of AI governance and responsible AI principles.
- Familiarity with workflow automation platforms such as RPA or Power Automate.
- Basic SQL skills and data analysis experience.
- Competence in process modeling tools like Visio, Draw.io, or BPMN.
Professional Experience
Ideal candidates will have worked with enterprise applications related to workflow management, access control, HR, Finance, Risk, or Compliance platforms and have been involved in digital transformation projects, automation, and managing cross-functional stakeholders.
Educational Requirements
A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline is expected.
Work Location and Conditions
This position is based in Delhi or Mumbai with an emphasis on hybrid work arrangements. The role may require occasional travel.
