Role Overview
The Building Maintenance Technician role based in Singapore involves maintaining and ensuring the efficient functioning of properties and estates managed by Knight Frank. Reporting to the Site Head, this position requires hands-on involvement in repairs, routine safety inspections, preventive maintenance, and overseeing contractors to uphold facility standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct diverse building repairs, including electrical, plumbing, and painting tasks, interpreting technical diagrams and site plans effectively.
- Perform daily safety inspections targeting electrical hazards, water accumulation, and collaborate closely with security teams to safeguard the site.
- Support and execute scheduled as well as reactive maintenance duties to ensure facilities remain in optimal condition.
- Record and monitor Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) system data, tracking equipment performances diligently.
- Assist in supervising external contractors during maintenance and service works, reporting any discrepancies or issues to management promptly.
Candidate Profile
- Possesses at least one year of relevant experience in building maintenance activities.
- Strong understanding of building systems along with mechanical and electrical operations.
- Capable of engaging effectively with colleagues, clients, and teams; exhibits strong teamwork skills.
- Holds a minimum qualification of NITEC in Building Services, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent credential.
