About the Role

City Cast is searching for a Brand Design Lead to direct the visual identity of the brand across its expanding network of local media platforms. This role primarily focuses on maintaining brand uniformity, enhancing revenue storytelling, ideating campaign marketing, and supporting sales enablement.

The Brand Design Lead will be responsible for establishing and maintaining City Cast's internal and external design guidelines to ensure a consistent, cohesive, and polished brand representation across Marketing, Revenue, Editorial, Membership, and local teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and sustain City Cast’s visual branding standards nationally and locally across various channels including editorial, marketing, membership, revenue, events, and digital platforms.
  • Act as the final authority approving branded materials used internally and externally to ensure alignment with leadership-driven brand directives.

  • Convert brand strategy into clear design systems, templates, and guidelines.

  • Proven ability creating sales enablement materials such as pitch decks, GTM assets, media kits, and partner-facing documents.
  • Strong comprehension of how design influences business objectives including audience expansion, revenue growth, brand trust, and partner narratives.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively explain design and branding concepts to non-designers and provide constructive feedback to collaborators and contractors.
  • Familiarity with brand systems and flexibility in adapting creative content across various formats, markets, or sub-brands.
  • Adept at balancing speed and quality without sacrificing design clarity and consistency.
  • Confidence in acting as a brand guardian while maintaining a collaborative, adaptable, and solution-driven approach.
  • Experience managing design workflows, requests, templates, and digital asset libraries.
  • Comfortable with design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Google Slides, and template-driven platforms.
