Brand Communication & PR Specialist

About the Role

We are an internationally acclaimed architectural lighting design firm seeking a communicative and strategic individual to join our team in Berlin or Bonn on a full-time or part-time basis. The ideal candidate possesses editorial intuition, strategic thinking, and a passion for impactful storytelling to ensure that our projects are not only successfully planned but also noticed and heard.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement integrated PR and communication strategies in collaboration with the Head of PR/Marketing.
• Create press releases, company news, project texts, interviews, and other written content.
• Maintain and expand a relevant network of journalists, editors, influencers, and industry associations.
• Manage social media activities with close coordination on social media-relevant topics.
• Monitor and analyze media coverage, reach, and the effectiveness of communication initiatives.

Candidate Profile

• Degree in Marketing, PR, Communication, Journalism, or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of experience in PR or brand communication, preferably in a company or agency focused on architecture, design, or art.
• An excellent network within journalism, media, or business, especially in construction and design trade media.
• Outstanding language skills with excellent command of both German and English writing.
• Strategic thinker with editorial instinct and the ability to coordinate across internal and external communications and teams.
• Willingness to travel for assignments at our Berlin and Bonn offices as well as for international projects and trade shows.
