Biomedical Engineer

Role Overview

The Biomedical Engineer position at UltraMed is a full-time job located on-site in Dubai, UAE. The primary responsibility is to install, calibrate, and maintain various medical and aesthetic devices to guarantee they perform safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on medical equipment daily.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems with installed devices.
• Coordinate repair services with vendors and internal teams to minimize downtime.
• Work closely with clinical and sales departments to support product demonstrations and offer technical training to clients.
• Maintain accurate records of service activities ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
• Analyze equipment performance data and contribute to initiatives aimed at quality improvement.
• Stay informed about new technologies and regulatory changes affecting biomedical and aesthetic devices.

Qualifications and Skills

• Solid education in Biomedical or Clinical Engineering, applying engineering principles to both medical and aesthetic machinery.
• Hands-on expertise in installation, configuration, safety checks, and maintenance of medical devices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or an equivalent engineering field.
• Familiarity with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and quality management systems.
• Ability to interpret technical guides, schematics, and service manuals accurately.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities with attention to precision and detail in technical tasks.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with clients, trainers, and internal teams and for conducting technical training sessions.
• Willingness and ability to travel within Dubai and across the UAE to handle service requests and manage priorities effectively.
• Previous working experience with aesthetic devices like lasers, hydrafacial machines, slimming, and anti-aging equipment is beneficial.
