About the Role
Bela Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Bid Writer to join their team in Dungannon, Co.Tyrone, Northern Ireland. This permanent full-time position is based onsite in a reputable organization that values the critical role of successful tender submissions in winning contracts across both public and private sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the entire bid and tender process from opportunity identification through to submission completion.
- Interpret and review tender documents such as Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs), Invitations to Tender (ITTs), Requests for Quotations (RFQs), and framework applications.
- Collaborate with multiple internal departments including sales, procurement, operations, design, sustainability, and finance to gather necessary information for bid preparation.
- Produce, edit, proofread, and format high-quality tender responses and supplementary documents in line with company branding and commercial strategies.
- Maintain and enhance the company's repository of bid content, case studies, and standard responses for future use.
- Ensure submissions meet client requirements, comply with deadlines, and are uploaded accurately onto procurement and tender portals.
- Assist with bid presentations and organize supporting materials as needed.
- Track tender opportunities within relevant industry sectors and frameworks to maximize bidding prospects.
- Contribute to post-submission activities including feedback analysis, lessons learned, and continuous process improvement.
- Work alongside the commercial team to support strategic growth initiatives.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of three years’ proven experience in bid writing and tender coordination.
- Excellent command of written English demonstrating attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, capable of handling multiple deadlines simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, or comparable software tools.
- Effective communication skills and ability to manage various stakeholder relationships.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team within a growing business environment.
- Experience with public sector tender responses and successful bid submissions.
