About the Role

We are actively seeking an experienced Bar Supervisor to support the Bar Manager in operating the hotel's facilities including 125 guest rooms, a restaurant, a bustling bar, and an event function room.

Key Responsibilities

• Possess in-depth product knowledge to assist with menu creation, encourage upselling, and provide staff training.
• Deliver an exceptional, upscale experience to guests ensuring their satisfaction.
• Coach, guide, and mentor bar team members to enhance skills and performance.
• Maintain and enforce standardised systems, processes, and controls efficiently.
• Lead by example in upselling techniques and encourage the team to maximize upselling opportunities.

Candidate Profile

• Experience working as a Bar Supervisor or Duty Manager in a busy 4-star hotel bar environment.
• Thorough knowledge of food and beverage services across restaurants, bars, and large functions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
• Leadership ability with capacity to inspire and motivate a sizable team.
• Skilled in team building, training, and staff retention.
• Proficient in prioritizing tasks and effective delegation.
• Excellent communication and guest relationship skills.
• Passion for hospitality and ambition to advance career progression.
