Role Summary

As a Banking & Finance Partner, you will provide expert advice on a wide array of complex financing transactions to domestic and international lenders, borrowers, developers, and financial institutions. Collaboration will be key, working seamlessly with colleagues specializing in Corporate, Real Estate, Construction, and Insolvency to offer comprehensive client solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead diverse banking and finance deals for clients both domestic and international.
• Offer strategic counsel to lenders, borrowers, developers, and investors on acquisition, development, real estate, and corporate financing matters.
• Manage secured and unsecured lending projects, including refinancing, restructuring, and syndicated lending arrangements.
• Strengthen long-term client partnerships and explore avenues for expanding business within existing accounts.
• Contribute proactively to the development and execution of the Banking & Finance division’s growth strategies.
• Mentor and support the professional advancement of associates and senior associates in the team.
• Lead business development efforts through networking, client presentations, and thought leadership activities.
• Maintain a strong professional presence and reputation in the banking and financial services sector.
• Deliver practical, commercially oriented legal advice that meets client needs in dynamic industries.

Candidate Profile

• Experienced Banking & Finance Partner, Senior Associate, Of Counsel or Legal Director with a robust track record in the field.
• Extensive post-qualification expertise in Banking & Finance law.
• Proficient in advising on acquisition finance, real estate finance, development finance, and secured lending transactions.
• Background representing banks, alternative lenders, borrowers, investors, or financial institutions.
• Established professional network with demonstrated business development success.
• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills with a keen commercial sense to provide pragmatic solutions.
• Strong leadership capabilities with experience in mentoring junior legal professionals.
• Exceptional communication and client relationship management skills.
• Driven to influence and expand a successful Banking & Finance practice.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position can reach up to €130,000 annually, complemented by a total package that may amount to €180,000.
