About the Role

Bon Appétit Management Company is inviting applications for both full-time and part-time Baker positions based in Colorado Springs, Colorado at Colorado College, 14 East Cache La Poudre. Job Responsibilities

• Produce a variety of baked goods such as breads, pies, cakes, cookies, and other pastries according to recipes and catering instructions, planning production to meet daily demands.
• Follow approved recipes and production standards while employing the correct equipment for food preparation.
• Maintain accurate production records including waste, portions consumed, and product shortages, and report low inventory levels to supervisors.
• Ensure proper food presentation, portion accuracy, temperature control, and overall food quality.
• Keep work equipment, supplies, and utensils clean and orderly within the workstation.
• Adhere strictly to food safety regulations during preparation and service.
• Thoroughly clean equipment and work areas at the end of shifts and maintain cleanliness of display equipment.
• Engage with customers professionally, handling complaints courteously and escalating concerns promptly to supervisors.
• Maintain composure and efficiency during busy production times, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Follow sanitation and safety protocols in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards.
• Complete assigned shift duties comprehensively and timely, and undertake other duties as required.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum of two years baking experience is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly wage ranges from $17.00 to $19.00.
