The Associate Project Manager supports the Project Manager in all phases of project management, including planning, execution, and closure. This position ensures coordination among project activities and monitors progress to keep initiatives aligned with timelines and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Gain thorough understanding of programme scopes, contracts, and responsibilities.
- Coordinate and integrate resources, teams, and key stakeholders effectively throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure adherence to internal processes and assist in reporting progress and status on business and functional requirements within the programme.
- Maintain close communication with clients to ensure expectations and specifications are met.
Additional Role - Safety Officer (Saudi National)
In conjunction with project management, a Safety Officer position is integral, focusing on maintaining safe working conditions particularly in Oil & Gas facility environments. This role includes regular safety inspections, promoting compliance with health and safety regulations, and accident investigation to develop preventive strategies.
- Inspect equipment such as safety belts, ladders, and tools to ensure worker safety standards are met and replace non-compliant items.
- Observe workplace safety practices and report any lack of compliance regarding safety equipment usage.
- Assess structural safety of excavation sites to prevent accidents and teach workers safe procedures.
- Encourage proactive reporting of unsafe actions or conditions and ensure compliance with Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) protocols.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum eight years oil and gas maintenance experience and high school diploma, or at least six years with a diploma.
- In-depth technical knowledge of maintenance roles related to safety.
- Strong organizational abilities and proactive communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership capacity within large organizations and sound judgment under pressure.
