Associate Producer, Broadcast

Overview

The New Orleans Pelicans and Saints seek an Associate Producer to join their broadcast team at 5800 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA. This full-time onsite role reports to the Executive Producer, Broadcast Production, and focuses on storytelling through producing and editing video content for both teams' Gulf Coast Sports and Entertainment Network (GCSEN) programming. Key Responsibilities

• Create both long and short-form video features highlighting the Pelicans and Saints.
• Conduct and record interviews with players, coaches, and front office personnel from both teams.
• Collaborate closely with senior producers to develop innovative content for live broadcasts and studio-based shows.
• Engage actively in content ideation, research, and concept development to enrich GCSEN's offerings.
• Manage coordination between media studio content and on-air talents.
• Produce podcasts alongside talent for broadcast on GCSEN.
• Maintain awareness of current news and developments related to the Saints and Pelicans.

Qualifications and Skills

• At least three years' experience in producing, editing, or videography roles, ideally within sports or live entertainment sectors.
• Knowledge of special effects, 3D graphics, and compositing techniques.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and general post-production workflows.
• Strong attention to visual detail, and understanding of trends in web and social video content.
• Must provide web links or demo reels showcasing prior completed work.
• Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, for diverse audiences including internal teams and partners.
• Organizational capabilities to handle multiple projects in a dynamic environment with flexibility and proactiveness.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold professionalism in public settings.
• Willingness to work outside regular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
