Overview
Our client, a reputable European wealth management firm known for its purpose-driven culture, is seeking an Associate Investment Manager. This role is suited for an ambitious professional with experience in wealth management aiming to advance their client-facing career. The position supports the Wealth & Investment team in managing client portfolios while developing advanced investment expertise, technical capabilities, and commercial insight. Additionally, the role involves active participation in business development, relationship building, and contributing to firm growth. Building upon a Trainee foundation, this position offers greater autonomy and responsibility, paving the way for advancement to Investment Manager and higher.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing client portfolios and the portfolio lifecycle process.
- Engage with clients and intermediaries to address queries and enhance client satisfaction.
- Contribute to investment research, asset allocation discussions, and ongoing portfolio management.
- Support creation of client proposals, presentations, and pitch documents to aid business development.
- Participate in team meetings, continuing professional development activities, and knowledge sharing sessions.
Requirements
- Previous experience in wealth management, investment management, or client-facing roles involving portfolio reviews.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of clearly and confidently explaining complex investment concepts.
- Solid understanding of regulatory standards, compliance requirements, and the broader financial market landscape.
- Proactive, collaborative, detail-oriented with strong commitment to client service and ongoing professional growth.
- Degree in business or a related field.
- Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA) certification.
