Role Summary

The Associate Event Producer acts as an integral member of the En Pointe team, contributing to various projects from initial concept stages through event execution. This role involves close collaboration with senior producers and the creative director, supporting event planning, coordination, and onsite management. It offers a dynamic and varied workload, perfect for experienced event professionals seeking freelance flexibility within a creative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with the En Pointe team to deliver outstanding events across all stages.
• Oversee allocated components including timelines, vendor coordination, and logistics management.
• Develop strong partnerships with clients, venues, and suppliers.
• Create detailed production schedules, run sheets, and all necessary event documentation.
• Contribute to creative event development and overall planning processes.
• Coordinate onsite event setup (bump-ins), operations, and teardown (bump-outs).
• Manage suppliers and contractors during events.
• Assist with budget monitoring and administrative tasks related to projects.
• Represent En Pointe professionally with meticulous attention to every detail.

Travel Expectations

The position primarily involves projects in Melbourne with growing opportunities interstate, especially Sydney. Candidates should be prepared to travel occasionally for major property launches, brand activations, and other corporate events according to project demands.

Candidate Profile

• At least five years of event management, experiential marketing, or event production experience.
• Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
• Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
• Strong skills in managing stakeholders and suppliers.
• A proactive approach focused on problem-solving.
• Capacity to perform calmly in high-pressure scenarios.
• Great attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel and work beyond regular hours when necessary.
