About the Role
We are collaborating with a leading global shipping firm to recruit an Assistant Manager for Talent Management. This position provides the opportunity to engage in regional and international talent review processes, succession and career planning, talent development initiatives, and HR transformation projects, working with stakeholders across various countries.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing and continuously refining the organization's global talent management strategies covering Talent Reviews, Calibration, Talent Rotation, Succession Planning, Career Development, and Talent Development activities.
- Collaborate with HR and business teams on a global scale to enhance the talent pipeline and succession frameworks at different organizational layers.
- Help optimize talent management workflows by leveraging automation, creating reports, and developing dashboards.
- Contribute to HR transformation projects focusing on improving competency frameworks, succession planning methodologies, and global talent pools.
- Partner with Global and regional HR teams to deliver development programs related to talent management, career mobility, and leadership growth.
- Support initiatives under the corporate academy including learning and development as well as employee engagement programs.
- Prepare talent-related data, reports, and presentations to aid strategic decision-making processes.
- Engage in additional HR projects and assigned initiatives as necessary.
Candidate Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field is required.
- A minimum of 4 to 5 years' practical experience in Talent Management roles.
- Background in talent reviews, succession planning, competency frameworks, leadership development, or HR transformation projects is preferred.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across multicultural environments and diverse functions.
- Strong organizational capabilities, attention to detail, and the ability to manage several priorities in a dynamic setting.
- Proficient analytical skills with expertise in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Google Workspace is advantageous.
