Role Overview
We are seeking an Assistant Butler to join our esteemed team, supporting discreet and elevated services for guests. This position collaborates closely with multiple departments, including the Butler team, Housekeeping, Concierge, Front Office, and In-Room Dining, ensuring a seamless luxury guest experience throughout their stay.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist in personalized check-in and check-out procedures.
- Handle luggage services, including packing, unpacking, valet duties, and fulfilling in-room requests.
- Ensure guest rooms and suites are prepared to VIP standards reflecting guest preferences.
- Coordinate effectively with housekeeping, concierge, spa, and food & beverage departments to provide flawless service.
- Maintain accurate records of guest profiles, preferences, and special requirements.
- Conduct thorough room inspections prior to guest arrival and after departure.
- Manage guest laundry, pressing, shoe-shining services, minibar replenishment, and amenities.
- Respond promptly, professionally, and confidentially to guest inquiries and requests.
- Support the Butler in delivering exceptional experiences particularly for VIP and long-stay guests.
- Consistently uphold luxury hospitality standards with impeccable grooming and professional conduct.
Candidate Qualifications
- Experience working in luxury hotels, resorts, or customer-facing hospitality roles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal capabilities.
- Attention to detail and proactive in anticipating guest requirements.
- Professional demeanor with discretion and sensitivity to cultural diversity.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
- Availability for flexible shifts including weekends and public holidays.
- Familiarity with Forbes Five-Star or equivalent luxury service standards preferred.
