About Auckland One Rail
Auckland One Rail (AOR) is a partnership between ComfortDelGro and UGL responsible for managing Auckland's passenger rail services, including the upkeep of stations, depots, and train fleet assets. Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Asset Operations Coordinator to join our Assets team on a fixed-term basis until early December 2026. Located in Auckland, you will support facilities and asset maintenance across the rail network to ensure stations, depots, and other facilities operate efficiently, safely, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Arrange contractor meetings by preparing agendas, tracking actions, and ensuring resolution of issues and escalations.
- Assist in audits, compliance checks, and assurance activities involving contractors.
- Compile KPI and performance reports for contractor review sessions.
- Manage document control systems and maintain precise records.
- Coordinate Building Warrant of Fitness requirements and related compliance processes.
- Monitor planned preventative maintenance schedules and assess contractor performance.
- Support reporting requirements and stakeholder communications for Auckland Transport.
- Handle contractor variations, cost monitoring, and oversee completion of work tasks.
- Assist with station key management and initiatives geared toward continuous improvement.
- Maintain liaison with contractors, service providers, Auckland Transport, KiwiRail, and internal teams to ensure delivery of facilities services.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in facilities or asset management, contractor coordination, operational admin, or maintenance support roles.
- Strong organizational, reporting, and document management skills.
- Previous involvement in audits, compliance activities, or managing contractor performance.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Effective communication skills and ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Attention to detail paired with a proactive and solution-driven mindset.
- Capability to facilitate meetings, track action items, and ensure follow-through until completion.
- Experience within rail, transport, infrastructure, property, or asset-intensive sectors is advantageous.
