Overview
Bajaj Finance Ltd is seeking an Area Manager to enhance productivity for sales teams through the company’s proprietary productivity application. The role involves acting as a product owner, collaborating closely with IT and multiple business units to deliver effective solutions aligned with organizational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize the company’s productivity app to improve employee efficiency by creating innovative features tailored for sales teams across Bajaj Finance Ltd.
- Assume ownership of the product, coordinating with IT teams to develop and deliver high-quality solutions based on diverse business vertical requirements.
- Engage extensively with stakeholders from business and technical departments to gather requirements and balance technical constraints.
- Convert product strategy into detailed specifications by authoring and reviewing user stories.
- Collaborate with IT to ensure timely release of application features.
- Work with stakeholders across various units to encourage adoption and regular use of the Salesone application.
- Provide guidance and leadership to junior team members to maintain quality output.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields; MBA qualification preferred.
- Between 6 to 8 years of product management experience, ideally within technology or financial services sectors.
- Familiarity with finance, fintech, NBFC/lending, and B2C platforms is advantageous.
- Strong presentation abilities and proficiency in MS Office tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to analyze data to extract actionable insights and apply effort as needed.
- Demonstrated self-motivation and proactive work ethic.
Desired Attributes
- Basic knowledge of UX design principles.
- Experience documenting detailed functional requirements for IT development teams.
