AI Trainer (Remote)

About the Role

We are looking for an AI Trainer to support a client by enhancing large language models (LLMs) through generating proprietary high-quality datasets for fine-tuning and evaluation. The position involves creating simulated multi-turn conversations where AI assistants utilize function calling tools to help users accomplish tasks.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop multi-turn dialogue scenarios mimicking genuine interactions between users and AI assistants using tools such as calendar, email, maps, and drive.
• Portray both user and assistant personas, including triggering assistant tool calls when corrections or clarifications are necessary.
• Decide when and how AI assistants should invoke available tools to maintain logical conversation flow and proper function call execution.
• Compose dialogues presenting natural language use, intelligent responses, and contextual comprehension throughout multiple turns.
• Refine conversation examples iteratively based on feedback to enhance realism, clarity, and their training effectiveness.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript programming for scripting and generating data.
• Experience designing multi-turn dialogues and simulating natural language interactions.
• Ability to model AI assistant behaviors, including appropriate use of tool functions and calls.
• Knowledge of formatting requirements and quality standards related to training datasets.
• High attention to detail to craft coherent and credible interaction sequences.
