Role Overview
We are looking for a meticulous Administrative Data Entry File Clerk to oversee record management and maintain digital databases while working remotely.
Primary Responsibilities
- Receive incoming files and categorize them using standard metadata such as client or project identification and document classification.
- Organize documents by applying consistent naming conventions and managing various file formats, including converting to PDFs and labeling versions appropriately.
- Conduct quality assurance spot checks to detect duplicate files and errors, and maintain logs to ensure the accuracy of data.
- Manage confidential records in compliance with legal retention policies, audit protocols, and legal hold requirements.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to clarify data requirements and provide updates on backlog and processing status.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in records management, clerical duties, or document control positions.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to following stringent filing and documentation procedures.
- Proficient in using computers, with skill in cloud storage tools, spreadsheet software, PDF handling, and ticketing systems.
