Position Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Accounts Manager to oversee comprehensive accounting, taxation, compliance, and financial reporting activities for a manufacturing company based in Ahmedabad.
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire accounting cycle including journal entries, ledger management, and using Tally or ERP systems.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual book closures accurately.
- Prepare financial statements such as Trial Balance, Profit & Loss accounts, and Balance Sheet.
- Ensure compliance with GST filings (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B), TDS, and Income Tax regulations.
- Liaise with auditors, consultants, and banking institutions for smooth financial operations.
- Maintain and track Fixed Asset Registers and calculate depreciation.
- Monitor accounts receivable and payable, maintain cash flow, and control credit effectively.
- Handle bank reconciliations and manage cash and petty cash transactions.
- Support payroll processes including statutory deductions like PF and ESIC.
- Generate Management Information System (MIS) reports and carry out financial analysis for decision-making purposes.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce or Finance; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance roles.
- Strong expertise in GST, TDS, Income Tax, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency with accounting software such as Tally or ERP and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Comprehensive understanding of financial reporting standards and audit procedures.
- Excellent analytical abilities and effective communication skills to coordinate across departments.
