Job Summary

This role involves examining, processing, and maintaining the company's financial transactions and records, ensuring adherence to approved accounting standards and procedures.   • Reconcile financial discrepancies across suppliers, GSAs, inter-company accounts, and hubs monthly.
  • Review cost accounts along with monthly and annual closing by compiling necessary information.
  • Examine balance sheet costs and prepare timely entries such as accruals and reversals.
  • Oversee outsourced service provider activities, ensuring timely invoice posting and procedural compliance; maintain related manuals.
  • Review non-technical cost areas by department to identify cost-saving opportunities and prepare budgets accordingly.
  • Prepare, review, and verify monthly budget versus actual reports for all departments except Engineering, coordinate with department heads, and address queries.
  • Create periodic special financial reports such as MIS reports by analyzing account information and trends.
  • Secure financial data by performing database backups.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Certified Chartered Accountant from ICAI.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, as well as internet research capabilities.
  • Fluent English language skills.

Experience and Knowledge

  • Minimum 3 years of comprehensive experience in corporate finance or accounting, preferably in a regional or multinational company.

  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles such as SFAS.
