About the internship

This remote, part-time internship is for careful and observant video annotators who want to support the creation of AI and robotics training data. You will work with first-person (ego-view) videos, identify human hand actions, and turn those observations into precise labeled segments for machine learning datasets.

The role suits candidates who are patient, accurate, and comfortable following detailed SOPs and annotation rules. It offers exposure to practical AI data work in a flexible work-from-home setup.

What you'll do

Carefully inspect ego-view videos frame by frame or segment by segment.
Break videos into continuous action intervals without leaving gaps or creating overlaps.
Assign clear labels to each segment based on the exact action performed by the left hand, right hand, or both hands.
Mark action start and end points with accurate timestamps.
Separate active work periods from idle time according to the project rules.
Keep annotations consistent and accurate across the full dataset.
Work strictly as per SOPs and project-specific instructions.
Run a final quality check before submitting completed work.
Escalate unclear cases or guideline questions to the project team.

Who can apply

Applications are open only to candidates who can work from home, can begin between 6 July 2026 and 10 August 2026, can commit to 4 weeks, have relevant skills and interest, and are Computer Science Engineering students.

Skills and requirements

Very strong attention to detail and careful observation.
Ability to notice small changes in human motion and actions.
Good analytical thinking for accurate segmenting and labeling.
Clear written English for precise action descriptions.
Consistency in following instructions and annotation standards.
Basic computer proficiency.
Comfort using annotation tools and web-based platforms.
Capacity to manage deadlines while maintaining quality.
Prior exposure to video annotation, image annotation, data labeling, or AI data collection is preferred.
Background in computer vision, AI datasets, or quality assurance is an advantage.
Familiarity with annotation platforms is helpful but not required.
Freshers with strong accuracy and a willingness to learn are welcome.
Profile traits: patient, self-directed, time-aware, and comfortable with repetitive project-based tasks.

Additional information

You will work on video segmentation, action recognition, hand action labeling, timestamp annotation, AI training dataset creation, and quality assurance for AI data. The project provides hands-on experience with real-world AI and robotics work, a flexible remote setup, and the chance to contribute to advanced AI technology. Strong performance may also lead to future AI project opportunities.

Terms and conditions

The internship duration is 1 month, with immediate joining expected. The stipend is INR 1,000 to INR 5,000 per month. The application deadline is 6 August 2026 at 11:59:59 PM. The internship is remote and part-time, with flexible work hours and a 5-day work week. There are 20 openings. Other perks include a certificate, flexible work hours, and a 5-day week.
