Program Overview
The Software Engineering Fellowship by Utpatti - The Finishing School is a comprehensive on-site program designed to close the gap between academic knowledge and industry expectations through direct engagement in live business projects. Participants will receive constant mentorship from the CEO and contribute to multiple client brands including Mitt Arv Technologies, Scambuster, EXT India, and Travel & Payments.
Training and Responsibilities
The fellowship spans six months, beginning with a three-month intensive foundational training focusing on essential software engineering skills. Following successful training, fellows will actively participate in the development lifecycle of production applications, collaborating across teams to build scalable and maintainable software.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers.
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code, address bugs, and optimize application performance.
- Build and integrate APIs and manage databases.
- Engage in code reviews and sprint planning sessions.
- Continuously research and adopt new technologies.
- Take full responsibility for assigned modules ensuring timely delivery.
Candidate Eligibility and Requirements
Applicants must be based in Hyderabad and available for full-time, in-office fellowship starting between August 3rd and September 7th, 2026, lasting six months. Candidates currently pursuing degrees should be able to attend the office for the second part of designated weekdays and work on Saturdays. Graduates must commit to working Tuesday through Saturday on-site. A personal laptop is required. Comfort with fast-paced startup environments is essential.
