Role Overview
As a Yardperson reporting to the Branch Manager at the Ormeau, Queensland branch, you will be critical in handling and maintaining equipment and yard operations. You will work full-time with varied shifts, including afternoons, nights, and weekends, according to operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload equipment such as traffic barriers, VMS boards, and lighting towers.
- Maintain and clean equipment, including the removal of graffiti.
- Conduct inspections of assets upon their return from clients.
- Support stock control efforts to manage asset inventory efficiently.
- Perform general housekeeping and yard maintenance duties to keep the site organized.
Candidate Requirements
- Possession of a valid forklift license capable of operating 16-tonne forklifts.
- Current and valid driver's license.
- Practical experience in loading and unloading equipment, including knowledge of load restraint techniques.
- Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate self-motivation.
- A positive attitude with a strong commitment to workplace safety.

- This is a permanent full-time position based in Ormeau, Queensland.
- Work schedule will include shifts during afternoons, nights, and weekends as needed.
