Workforce Planning Specialist

Position Overview

At B. Braun SE, we are seeking a Workforce Planning Specialist to join our Human Resources team at the Melsungen location without delay. The successful candidate will take charge of advancing the strategic and conceptual aspects of workforce planning. Your mission will be to anticipate future staffing needs or surpluses early, ensuring a consistent, data-driven, and executable personnel planning process. You will act as a key liaison among various departments, HR Business Partners, and HR controlling teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate annual and interim workforce planning processes.
• Translate strategic targets into specific headcount and full-time equivalent (FTE) plans.
• Guarantee planning quality, transparency, and consistency throughout.
• Analyze demographics, labor market trends, and skill requirements to inform planning.
• Advance personnel planning methodologies with a focus on sustainability and efficiency.
• Enhance digital workforce planning platforms, reporting structures, and dashboards.
• Facilitate and moderate coordination meetings among stakeholders.
• Advise leadership on both operational and strategic workforce planning matters.
• Support HR projects and organizational change and development initiatives.

Professional Qualifications

• Completed degree in business administration, economics, or a comparable qualification such as a commercial apprenticeship.
• Several years of relevant experience in HR or controlling.
• Track record of managing complex projects.
• Proficiency in using modern reporting and analytics tools, including business intelligence systems.
