Job Overview

We seek an experienced Web Developer to lead backend development focused on MongoDB database management, seamless payment gateway integration, and secure transaction processing workflows. This role involves enhancing web applications by managing database structures, integrating with various payment platforms, and ensuring smooth, secure payment experiences for users.

Key Duties

• Develop and manage web applications utilizing MongoDB as the core database system.
• Design, optimize, and maintain MongoDB databases including collections and queries.
• Integrate multiple payment gateways such as Stripe, PayPal, Razorpay, Authorize.Net, or equivalents.
• Create secure payment processes encompassing checkout flows, redirection pages, and transaction status confirmations.
• Handle APIs, webhooks, callbacks, and authentication related to payment gateways.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to failed payments and integration errors.
• Maintain synchronization between website interface, back-end database, and payment services.
• Develop backend functionality to support order processing and payment validation.
• Ensure the website maintains optimal performance, security, and scalability.
• Collaborate with internal business teams to translate payment requirements into technical solutions.

Qualification & Skills Required

• Proficient knowledge of MongoDB and database management principles.
• Hands-on experience integrating payment gateways and managing payment workflows.
• Expertise in REST API and API development.
• Experience handling webhooks and payment callbacks.
• Strong skills in JavaScript, preferably Node.js for backend development.
• Capability to work with JSON data formats effectively.
• Familiarity with payment processing systems and debugging troubleshooting skills.
• Experienced in developing and maintaining secure, scalable web applications.

Preferred Experience

• Proven background in integrating Stripe or similar payment platforms.
• Understanding transactional operations like authorization, capture, refunds, and status management.
• Experience with e-commerce technology and online payment systems.
• Awareness of security standards applicable to online financial transactions.

Additional Information

Position Type: Full-Time

Based in Chennai, India

Experience Required: 2-5 years

Salary Range: INR 300000 to 700000 annually
