Its wealth management branch, Cynosure Wealth Advisors (CWA), functions as a multi-family office managing approximately $1.5 billion for around 50 ultra-high-net-worth client families. CWA offers comprehensive services across investments, tax and financial planning, and family office operations with a boutique, high-touch approach and is experiencing rapid growth.
Role Overview
The Wealth Management Associate will join CWA’s Salt Lake City team in a generalist capacity, gaining extensive exposure to client service, operations, investment management, and financial planning. This entry-level position provides opportunities for learning and advancement to specialized roles within two years.

- Assist advisors with financial planning analyses using eMoney software and prepare materials for client planning reviews.
- Collaborate cross-functionally within the firm to improve processes, participate in firm meetings, and advance professional development.
Professional Development Path
Associates start as generalists learning all aspects of wealth management over the initial two years, after which they can specialize in areas such as operations, investments, advisory, or business development. The firm also supports credentialing through Series 65, CFP, CFA, and an advanced M.S. in Wealth Management.
Qualifications
- 0 to 2 years of experience; internship experience in related financial services preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field; candidates graduating in late 2026 or early 2027 may work part-time until graduation.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills combined with professionalism in client interactions.
- Familiarity and comfort with AI tools such as ChatGPT and Jump AI incorporated into workflows.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with platforms like Black Diamond, eMoney, or Wealthbox beneficial.
- High ethical standards, discretion, and confidentiality in dealing with sensitive family financial information.
- Team-oriented mindset, adaptable to a fast-paced boutique environment; athletes are noted to thrive here.
- Interest in obtaining industry credentials like Series 65, CFP, or CFA.
