Role Overview

This full-time on-site Warehouse Manager role is located in Wonthaggi, VIC. The manager oversees all daily warehouse operations, ensuring freight is handled efficiently and safely. Responsibilities include managing stock accuracy and inventory, coordinating the receiving and dispatch of goods, and supervising storage, picking, packing, and loading tasks. Leadership of the warehouse team, scheduling, enforcing safety protocols, and fostering continual workflow improvements are key duties.

The role involves collaboration with transport and logistics teams, maintaining proper warehouse documentation and systems, and liaising with customers and internal stakeholders to meet service standards.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven expertise in stock control and maintaining precise inventory records.
• Experience with warehouse management systems and inventory oversight.
• Strong operations management capabilities including planning, scheduling, and coordinating warehouse functions.
• Competent forklift operator holding valid forklift and Medium Rigid licenses, with a focus on safety.
• Prior work experience in warehousing, logistics, or transport operations, ideally within freight or distribution sectors.
• Effective leadership aptitude to manage, coach, and delegate within a team environment.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, attentive to detail and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Capacity to work full-time on-site at the Wonthaggi location, including occasional visits to Dandenong South, and perform physical warehouse duties.
• Vocational qualifications in warehousing, logistics, or supply chain are preferred but not mandatory.
