Role Overview

We are seeking a full-time Warehouse Associate based in Burnaby, British Columbia. This role requires on-site presence and offers a wage range of $21 to $25 per hour. This opening is for a currently available position.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manually and mechanically load, unload, move, and stack wood products using forklifts.
• Prepare orders for dispatch, verifying accurate quantities and product types before shipment.
• Secure freight loads following established safety protocols.
• Label, tag, and appropriately store stock items in designated areas.
• Deliver products using a small delivery truck when needed.
• Manage inventory of shipping materials and supplies efficiently.
• Update inventory records within the ERP system and report any discrepancies to management promptly.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace adhering to company policies and safety guidelines.

Candidate Requirements

• Completion of high school education or its equivalent.
• Valid driver's license essential.
• Previous forklift operation experience is required; possession of a forklift license is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Work experience with lumber or panel products is considered beneficial.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
• Physical capability to lift, pull, and push loads up to approximately 75 pounds on a repetitive basis safely.
