VPC Field Operator

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated VPC Field Operator to contribute to our Vehicle Processing Center (VPC) operations based in KAEC. This role entails executing various hands-on vehicle processing duties ensuring vehicles are handled safely, accurately, and meet company standards from arrival to dispatch.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct accurate vehicle receiving and check-in.
• Perform vehicle exterior washing and interior cleaning tasks.
• Insert owners' manuals, warranty cards, and other required documentation into vehicles.
• Complete GDS, interior, and quality inspections on vehicles.
• Assemble and install Port Installed Options (PIO) parts and accessories.
• Apply wrap guards and protective films following specific guidelines.
• Prepare, position, and load vehicles for shipment efficiently.
• Assist with vehicle dispatch and outbound operations in line with schedules.
• Print and check delivery notes and invoices ensuring vehicle and destination details are accurate.
• Liaise with transportation and logistics providers about vehicle collection and loading needs.
• Scan vehicles and update system status and tracking information.
• Report any vehicle damages, shortages, defects, or irregularities promptly to supervisors.
• Complete daily work assignments while maintaining required productivity and quality levels.
• Keep work areas clean and organized according to 5S workplace standards.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols, yard traffic rules, and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Conduct routine checks of tools and equipment, reporting maintenance needs or defects.
• Provide on-the-job training and mentoring to new operators after qualification and training.

Qualifications and Candidate Profile

• Possession of a valid driving license is essential.

• Prior experience in automotive, logistics, vehicle processing, warehouse, or yard operations is advantageous.
• Physically capable of performing outdoor duties involving walking, standing, bending, and repetitive motions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team environment.
• Meticulous attention to detail with a strong focus on safety and quality standards.
• Preparedness to work in outdoor yard conditions which include exposure to heat, dust, and varying weather.
