Role Overview

An emerging retail business with a strong reputation for innovation is looking for an accomplished finance executive to lead its Singapore-based finance function. This position suits a senior leader who has delivered transformation programmes and can strengthen both performance and operational discipline.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the CFO, you will oversee a team of qualified finance professionals and take ownership of the full finance agenda. Your scope will include reporting, consolidation, analysis, business partnering, and internal controls.

You will also contribute to process redesign initiatives, with an immediate focus on modernising finance operations and improving efficiency. Working closely with commercial stakeholders, you will provide financial guidance to support business expansion, capital allocation decisions, and overall business performance.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a qualified CA with more than 20 years of relevant experience, preferably gained in retail or consumer-facing sectors. Deep technical knowledge of group reporting and consolidation is important for success in this role.

You should bring a strong background in finance transformation and change leadership, including experience improving finance functions and driving business process re-engineering across regional environments. The organisation is seeking someone who is energetic, resilient, and committed to building team capability and developing people.
