Visual Merchandiser

Role overview

H&M is seeking a Visual Merchandiser for its store in Indore. In this full-time, on-site role, you will help shape a consistent and inspiring in-store experience by applying visual standards, commercial thinking, and styling best practices. The position reports to the Store Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out visual presentation, commercial styling, and curation activities according to store guidelines and planned calendars so the store looks appealing and sales opportunities are maximized.
• Review sales performance, keep stock availability in check, ensure garments are cared for properly, and work with Store Management to spot and act on visual and commercial improvement areas.
• Share trend awareness and competitor observations to guide and develop the store team so they can deliver a stronger customer experience.
• Represent both yourself and the brand positively in every customer interaction.
• Assist the Sales Market team with store expansion initiatives.

Who you will work with

You will be part of the Store Team, working closely with roles such as Sales Advisors, Department Managers, Store Managers, Assistant Store Managers, Cash Office Responsible, Delivery Responsible, and other Visual Merchandisers in larger stores. You will also collaborate with the wider Area Team across stores to exchange insights and support business success.

About you

The ideal candidate has solid experience in visual merchandising and commercial retail work in a fast-moving environment, along with a practical, solution-focused approach. You should know how to interpret sales reports and understand the selling equation so you can turn data into action. We are looking for someone who loves fashion, enjoys creating memorable store experiences, communicates well, can motivate teams, and remains flexible, creative, curious, proactive, and action-oriented.
