Position Overview
The Vice President of Strategy Execution is a high-level executive responsible for overseeing the system that manages the rollout and implementation of corporate strategy. This role involves designing and leading mechanisms to execute strategy, coordinating the deployment of strategic plans, major initiatives, operational goals, and driving performance assessments. The executive ensures that corporate strategy effectively translates into business outcomes, while continuously improving organizational execution abilities, operational efficiency, and competitive positioning.
Key Objectives
- Develop and establish a corporate strategy execution management framework.
- Ensure the effective implementation of strategic corporate objectives.
- Enhance collaboration across departments to improve execution efficiency.

Core Responsibilities
- Strategy Execution System Development: Create and maintain the corporate strategy execution system, including developing execution management processes, strategic implementation roadmaps, standards, monitoring and evaluation methods, governance, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Strategy Implementation Management: Oversee corporate strategy execution by breaking down strategic goals, formulating annual plans, advancing strategic tasks, managing key projects, allocating resources, monitoring progress, and evaluating outcomes to ensure goals are met as planned.
- Strategic Project Management: Manage significant strategic initiatives such as corporate and digital transformations, global expansion, mergers and acquisitions integration, innovation, process optimization, organizational changes, and PMO governance, ensuring projects meet quality, cost, and timeline standards.
- Operational Management and Performance Analysis: Develop systems for strategic operations analysis involving KPI and OKR management, operational and strategy execution analysis, ROI and risk evaluations, and preparation of top-level management reports to aid decision-making.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Coordinate functions like Strategic Planning, Operations, Finance, Product Management, R&D, Marketing, Sales, HR, Legal, and IT to establish seamless collaboration frameworks that boost execution effectiveness.
- Organizational Transformation and Continuous Improvement: Drive organizational optimization through change management, process enhancement, lean methodologies, corporate culture cultivation, continuous innovation, and capability building to strengthen the company's competitive edge.
- Risk Management and Strategic Governance: Establish comprehensive strategic risk management including risk identification, execution risk evaluation, compliance adherence, governance enhancements, decision support, ongoing risk monitoring, and strategic adjustments to ensure execution stability.
- Digital Strategy Execution: Lead the digital transformation of strategy execution via tools such as Enterprise Performance Management systems, Business Intelligence, data visualization, AI-supported decision-making, data governance, automated analysis, and interactive dashboards fostering data-driven strategy management.
- Team Leadership: Supervise managers reporting to roles like Director of Strategy Execution, PMO, Strategic Projects, Business Analysis, and Strategic Performance Manager. Responsibilities include talent acquisition, team development, performance and leadership growth, and nurturing high-potential employees.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Preferred degrees include MBA, Business Administration, Strategic Management, Management Studies, Finance, Engineering Management, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or Economics.
- Experience: Over 12 years in corporate strategy, operations management, business transformation, or management consulting; 8 years managing large strategic initiatives; and at least 5 years in senior leadership roles. Experience with multinational corporations or large conglomerates in strategy execution is advantageous.
Skills and Professional Expertise
- Knowledge in strategy execution, corporate strategy, business transformation, project portfolio and PMO management, enterprise performance management, business intelligence, data and risk analysis, and change management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Jira, Confluence, Power BI, Tableau, SAP, Oracle ERP, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Preferred certifications include MBA, PMP, PMI-PgMP, Prosci Change Management, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, and TOGAF.
