About the Role
This senior IT leadership position focuses on driving digital applications and technology program delivery within a well-established company specializing in customized solutions for the construction industry. The role requires a hands-on approach to IT transformation, program and project management, process optimization, data analysis, and strategy development. The position is based primarily in North Dublin, with expected on-site presence 3 to 4 days weekly.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead IT operations including digital transformation initiatives, technology roadmap development, and overseeing key business platforms.
- Analyze and redesign existing systems to unify disparate business functions such as purchasing, finance, design, scheduling, planning, infrastructure, security, cloud services, and data management.
- Serve as the main IT liaison within the company to foster business engagement, communicate benefits, and align technology solutions with business strategy.
- Gather and translate business requirements into actionable projects and initiatives ensuring successful implementation.
- Develop and execute a digital strategy encompassing business applications, platform architecture, and application delivery methodologies.
- Manage change across the organization by leading communication, stakeholder engagement, training, and user adoption efforts to ensure smooth transformation.
Experience and Qualifications
- More than 15 years of experience in IT, digital technology, and change management, including a minimum of seven years in leadership roles.
- Background ideally within manufacturing or construction sectors with expertise in manufacturing operations, multi-site supply chains, material planning, production scheduling, and logistical installations.
- Demonstrated success leading medium to large-scale digital transformation initiatives and change management programs.
- Proficient in digital application transformation, team leadership, delivery management, and business process improvement.
- Strong communication skills with an approach rooted in management consulting principles to engage effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Educational background in computer science, engineering, or related technical discipline.
