Role Overview
The Vice President of Field Services will guide the strategic vision and operational excellence of Verra Mobility’s North American Field Services division. This executive role involves leadership over regional field operations, the Command Center Remote Technical Support team, and Fleet Management. Responsibilities include promoting innovative practices, operational scalability, and driving performance through data insights. The position balances high-level strategic planning with day-to-day operational management to enhance customer experience and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and enhance the Field Services team including internal staff and external vendors to guarantee consistent, high-quality delivery across U.S. and Canada.
- Manage Command Center operations, ensuring continuous service monitoring, swift incident response, and problem resolution.
- Lead Fleet Management initiatives focusing on asset use optimization, maintenance schedules, and overall lifecycle management.
- Oversee multiple operational profit and loss statements including budgeting, forecasting, and performance metrics.
- Promote a client-centric culture and spearhead change management initiatives aligned with company objectives.
- Create and implement strategic plans addressing personnel, process improvements, and technology adoption to support growth.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues, improve service delivery, and support field technicians.
- Utilize continuous improvement strategies such as Lean and Six Sigma to streamline operations and minimize errors.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators to inform decision-making and enhance operational efficiencies.
- Represent the Field Services division in executive-level meetings contributing to broader corporate strategies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) is mandatory.
- Minimum of 7 years leading Field Services operations.
- At least 7 years managing Remote Technical Support (Command Center) teams.
- 2 or more years of experience overseeing Fleet Management operations.
- Proven leadership managing teams dispersed geographically across North America or globally.
- Demonstrated success in enterprise-level initiatives including motivating, coaching, and staff development to improve client experience and meet service level agreements.
- Strong organizational skills with a proactive approach, sound judgment, and ability to drive multiple projects to completion.
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with initiative to address compliance risks proactively.
- Track record of maintaining effective internal and external relationships.
- Experience with business process improvement using Six Sigma, Lean, or similar methodologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a collaborative leadership style.
Preferred Credentials
- MBA or Master’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related discipline.
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt).
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- ITIL4 certification.
- Experience in the photo enforcement sector.
Work Environment
This fully remote position offers the flexibility to work from home, combined with regular virtual meetings and team interactions. The role requires frequent travel up to 50% of the time across North America to engage with teams and support operational objectives.
