Vehicle Mechanic

Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Vehicle Mechanic to join our team at Dubai Government Workshop. The role involves the inspection, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of vehicles and equipment using various diagnostic tools and mechanical skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed inspections of vehicles using diagnostic equipment to detect mechanical faults and document findings on specific work orders as per protocol.
• Assess defective components to decide if repair is feasible or replacement is necessary.
• Source and verify spare parts from stock, ensuring they meet the required technical standards before utilization.
• Perform repairs on expensive or hard-to-source parts to enable their reuse, following supervisor's guidance and maintaining high standards of workmanship.
• Maintain accurate records of tasks performed, parts used, and time spent on each vehicle's work order in line with procedures.

Qualification Requirements

• Possess a vocational diploma in mechanical maintenance or an equivalent qualification.
• Have a minimum of three years experience working in the maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
• Hold a valid driving license.

Additional Information

• Employment is full-time at the Dubai Government Workshop.
• Open to all nationalities, with preference given to UAE nationals.
• Salary range is below 10,000 AED monthly.
