About the Role
This opportunity is for a UX Designer focused on infrastructure products, based in Germany, providing the chance to create intuitive user experiences for sophisticated open-source infrastructure software used worldwide. Key Responsibilities
- Create user-focused workflows and interfaces for complex infrastructure tools managing cloud environments.
- Partner with product managers and engineers to guide product direction and enhance user experience.
- Employ UX research techniques, usability insights, and design heuristics to address complex product challenges.
- Translate complicated technical concepts into clear, efficient, and accessible experiences.

Candidate Requirements
- Passionate and knowledgeable about user experience, product design, and related technology.
- Experience designing complex digital platforms, including developer tools, enterprise applications, or technical products.
- Skilled in conducting user research and applying findings to enhance product decisions.
- Strong grasp of UX methods, design principles, and usability best practices.
- Experience with creating and maintaining design systems or reusable design components.
- Adept at collaborating effectively with engineers, product managers, designers, and executives.
- Excellent communication skills, able to clearly justify design choices.
- Curious, adaptable, and dedicated to continuous professional development.
- Interest and ability to engage with technical infrastructure and complex technological contexts.
- Capable of strategic thinking aligned with attention to detail and high execution quality.
- Possess a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in User Experience, Design, STEM, or a related area; alternative career paths are considered.
- Willingness to travel internationally several times annually to attend company events.
