About the Role
We are looking to hire a proactive UK Education Recruiter to join our recruitment team in Ahmedabad. This role involves sourcing and placing qualified educational professionals such as teachers, teaching assistants, SEN specialists, and support staff in various schools, academies, colleges, and educational institutions throughout the United Kingdom. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in UK recruitment processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to oversee the entire recruitment cycle efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and attract education professionals for UK institutions, including teachers, teaching assistants, SEN experts, and support roles.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their hiring needs and deliver suitable candidates within designated timeframes.
- Utilize diverse sourcing tools such as job boards, social media platforms, advanced Boolean and X-ray search methods, referrals, and internal databases.
- Conduct initial candidate screenings, interviews, and evaluate competencies to ensure suitability.
- Authenticate candidate credentials, verify work eligibility, check references, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Arrange interviews between candidates and clients and facilitate scheduling.
- Handle salary negotiations and manage the offer and acceptance stages.
- Maintain consistent communication with candidates during the recruitment journey.
- Develop and nurture a robust talent pool to meet ongoing and future hiring demands.
- Keep the Applicant Tracking System updated with precise candidate data.
- Meet recruitment key performance indicators, including placement targets and service standards.
- Stay informed about latest UK education recruitment trends, safeguarding protocols, and compliance regulations.
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong command of spoken and written English communication.
- Proficient in sourcing and headhunting techniques.
- Practical experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, CV databases, and Boolean search strategies.
- Capability to handle multiple open positions concurrently.
- Effective negotiation and relationship management abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills and adept time management.
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- Working knowledge of MS Office and Google Workspace tools.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in any field.
- Preferred: 1 to 5+ years of recruitment experience, ideally focused on UK education sector vacancies.
- Familiarity with recruitment for Primary, Secondary, SEN, or Further Education roles is advantageous.
- Awareness of UK safeguarding practices, DBS checks, Right to Work verification, and related compliance procedures is beneficial.
