About the Role
Circet UK is seeking a Traffic Management Operative to join the team in Dorset. This role involves the installation, upkeep, and removal of traffic management setups on-site, reporting directly to the Operations Manager. The operative will collaborate closely with Circet Traffic Management to ensure smooth traffic flow and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and dismantle complex traffic management schemes on both rural and urban roads.
- Participate in site meetings with clients, local authorities, and other key stakeholders.
- Interpret and follow detailed TM CAD drawings effectively.
- Conduct surveys and design traffic management schemes, considering risks and traffic volume data.
- Maintain excellent punctuality and attendance records.
Skills and Competencies Required
- Strong communication and presentation abilities.
- Capable of multitasking and adapting to shifting priorities.
- Previous experience in traffic management roles.
- Proper training and qualifications for temporary traffic management implementation.
- Possession of a full driving license.
- Willingness to work weekends and maintain open availability.
- Experience in fast-paced, quick turnaround environments.
- Familiarity with online systems related to the sector.
- Sector Scheme 12D qualification is desirable but not mandatory as training will be provided.

The role requires vigilant monitoring of site practices to ensure full adherence to relevant legislation and company health and safety policies to prevent accidents and potential fines. The operative must identify training needs and liaise with the HSEQ Department to arrange necessary courses. Non-compliance may result in disciplinary actions.
