Traffic Management Operative

About the Role

Circet UK is seeking a Traffic Management Operative to join the team in Dorset. This role involves the installation, upkeep, and removal of traffic management setups on-site, reporting directly to the Operations Manager. The operative will collaborate closely with Circet Traffic Management to ensure smooth traffic flow and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and dismantle complex traffic management schemes on both rural and urban roads.
• Participate in site meetings with clients, local authorities, and other key stakeholders.
• Interpret and follow detailed TM CAD drawings effectively.
• Conduct surveys and design traffic management schemes, considering risks and traffic volume data.
• Maintain excellent punctuality and attendance records.

Skills and Competencies Required

• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Capable of multitasking and adapting to shifting priorities.
• Previous experience in traffic management roles.
• Proper training and qualifications for temporary traffic management implementation.
• Possession of a full driving license.
• Willingness to work weekends and maintain open availability.
• Experience in fast-paced, quick turnaround environments.
• Familiarity with online systems related to the sector.
• Sector Scheme 12D qualification is desirable but not mandatory as training will be provided.

Health & Safety Compliance

The operative must identify training needs and liaise with the HSEQ Department to arrange necessary courses. Non-compliance may result in disciplinary actions.
