Testing Manager - Oracle

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Testing Manager specialized in Oracle technologies to join a leading IT software solutions firm based in Qatar. This full-time, permanent position requires over 10 years of experience. The role focuses on overseeing the entire testing lifecycle across various releases and workstreams within Oracle Cloud ERP and related systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the integrated test plans for System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression, performance, security, operational acceptance, payroll reconciliation, and quarterly Oracle releases.
• Coordinate testing efforts among business units, IT teams, implementation partners, internal applications, and third-party integrations.
• Oversee test readiness activities including environment setup, data preparation, test script creation, requirements traceability, execution monitoring, defect triage, and adherence to entry and exit criteria.
• Maintain test evidence, reporting protocols, quality gates, and phase signoffs to ensure project quality.
• Implement risk-based testing strategies, focusing on business-critical end-to-end scenarios with an emphasis on test automation and metrics tracking.
• Provide executive-level reporting and make release-readiness decisions based on testing outcomes.
• Ensure consistent governance across Oracle Cloud applications, custom solutions, interfaces, reports, and integrated systems.

Required Expertise

• Expertise in functional testing of Oracle Cloud ERP, specifically Supply Chain Management (SCM).
• Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Finance and SCM modules.
• Familiarity with Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) and Workday Procurement testing.
• Strong leadership skills managing multi-disciplinary teams and complex testing cycles.
• Comprehensive knowledge of test lifecycle management including automation and risk analysis.
