Test Automation Specialist

Overview

Ubique Systems is seeking a Test Automation Specialist with 8 to 10 years of experience, specializing in testing applications. This role involves handling specific project segments and ensuring thorough testing coverage from API through system levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct API, integration, and system testing on products during their development cycle.
• Translate high-level marketing requirements into detailed, user-focused specifications for development teams.
• Generate detailed bug reports including diagnostic data to facilitate efficient issue resolution.
• Create and update test and regression plans relevant to new or replacement features and products.
• Develop and maintain both manual functional and non-functional test cases.
• Write, execute, and maintain automated test scripts to enhance test efficiency and minimize manual testing.
• Continuously improve testing methodologies and processes.
• Assist in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and reproducing issues escalated by customers.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• At least 5 years of experience in QA, Software Testing, or Software Engineering.
• ISTQB Certification at Foundation, Advanced, or Agile Tester level or similar certification is advantageous.
• Experience or knowledge in surveying, communications, civil construction, or the technology industry is helpful but not mandatory.
• Basic understanding of C++, Web, or Android coding is preferred but not essential.
• Familiarity with automated test writing, tools, and frameworks.
