Team Leader - Pharmacovigilance

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Team Leader specializing in pharmacovigilance to oversee a group of 18 to 20 life sciences graduates supporting a leading pharmaceutical organization. This role involves directing daily operations, boosting team effectiveness, maintaining quality and compliance standards, and managing workflows to align with productivity targets and case priorities. The Team Leader will report to higher management and will be instrumental in leadership, process refinement, and client service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 18 to 20 life sciences professionals providing pharmacovigilance services to a prominent pharmaceutical client.
• Oversee people management processes including promoting team engagement, managing attendance and leaves, evaluating performance, and planning professional development and mentoring.
• Assure overall team quality performance aligns with internal benchmarks, client standards, and regulatory demands.
• Manage workflow operations such as daily productivity, task distribution, case prioritization, and ensure timely completion of assignments.
• Track and analyze team performance using operational and quality metrics; identify deficiencies and apply corrective or preventive measures.
• Ensure strict compliance with pharmacovigilance processes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), client guidelines, and regulatory policies.
• Initiate and support process enhancement activities to improve efficiency, quality, regulatory adherence, and the team's effectiveness.
• Handle issue resolution and escalation processes, collaborating with internal stakeholders and management to sustain seamless operations.
• Maintain clear communication with team members, colleagues, and leadership to ensure understanding of priorities and performance standards.
