Opportunity Overview

We are seeking a committed Talent Acquisition Specialist to join us full-time, based in Melbourne CBD with hybrid work flexibility. This role involves managing the entire recruitment lifecycle and partnering closely with business leaders to attract top talent for diverse positions in transport, logistics, warehousing, operations, and corporate sectors. You will significantly influence workforce composition while ensuring an exceptional experience for candidates and hiring managers alike.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete recruitment process from job briefing through onboarding.
• Create and post compelling job advertisements on various recruitment channels.
• Source, assess, and interview candidates for a broad spectrum of roles.
• Develop and sustain talent pools for future recruitment needs.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to comprehend staffing needs and offer recruitment guidance.
• Perform reference checks and handle all pre-employment compliance matters.
• Manage onboarding processes and assist new hires in their transition phase.
• Offer HR support concerning recruitment and onboarding best practices to management.
• Maintain accurate recruitment data including reports, candidate records, and ATS entries.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and professional candidate experience throughout recruitment.

Candidate Profile

• Proven background in Talent Acquisition, Recruitment, or Human Resources.
• Experience hiring within transport, logistics, supply chain, or warehousing sectors is highly advantageous.
• Solid knowledge of Australian labor laws and Fair Work regulations.
• Exceptional communication and relationship management abilities.
• Ability to juggle multiple vacancies effectively in a high-paced environment.
• Familiarity with recruitment tools like Seek, LinkedIn Recruiter, and Indeed.
• HR certifications such as AHRI or equivalent are a plus.
