Talent Acquisition Specialist

Overview

Dexian seeks an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their Integrated Talent Solutions team in downtown Toronto on a 12-month contract. This full-time, onsite role operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The specialist will create and implement strategic sourcing initiatives to attract and engage top passive candidates across various business units while collaborating with recruiters and hiring managers to strengthen talent pipelines and provide market insights.

Key Duties

• Design and carry out proactive sourcing plans targeting high-quality passive candidates.
• Establish and maintain talent pools to address both immediate and future hiring needs.
• Work closely with recruiters and hiring managers to align sourcing efforts with hiring priorities and labor market trends.
• Leverage advanced sourcing tools including LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS, Boolean searches, and other research methods to find qualified talent.
• Act as the main contact for candidates, ensuring a positive recruitment experience.
• Perform talent market mapping, competitor analysis, and workforce research to support recruitment strategy.
• Execute innovative sourcing campaigns to boost candidate engagement and enhance diversity within talent pipelines.
• Maintain accurate tracking and reporting of sourcing activities and metrics.
• Partner with Talent Branding and internal recruiting groups to back employer branding and diversity hiring programs.
• Effectively communicate position details, career growth opportunities, and compensation to candidates.
• Continuously refine sourcing methods and suggest improvements based on market observations.

Technical and Preferred Skills

• Proven expertise in sourcing for multiple business functions across geographic areas.
• Strong experience with passive candidate sourcing and pipeline building.
• Proficient in tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS databases, Boolean and X-Ray searches.
• Background in full-cycle recruitment, sourcing, or recruitment research roles.
• Skilled in market mapping, competitor intelligence, and analyzing recruiting data.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and management abilities.
• Capable of working effectively in a fast-paced and high-volume recruitment environment.
• Preferred experience includes supporting technology or high-growth startups, collaborating on employer branding and diversity initiatives, and global/multi-region recruiting exposure.
• Nice-to-have knowledge includes workforce planning, talent forecasting, sourcing automation, and CRM tools.
