Swimming Pool Lifeguard

About the Role

AMWAJ Group of Companies is seeking a qualified and dedicated Swimming Pool Lifeguard to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The primary objective of this role is to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all individuals utilizing our swimming facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Continuously observe and monitor all activities taking place in and around the swimming pool area.
• Strictly enforce all established safety regulations and policies to prevent accidents.
• Be prepared to respond promptly and effectively to any emergencies, including performing necessary water rescues.
• Administer First Aid and CPR as needed in emergency situations.
• Regularly conduct inspections of the pool area to ensure safety and maintain all related equipment.
• Monitor and ensure water quality meets the standards set by the Ministry of Public Health (MOPH).
• Foster a safe, welcoming, and positive atmosphere for all patrons.

Requirements

• Possession of a valid Lifeguard Certification from an accredited institution.
• Current First Aid and CPR certifications are mandatory.
• Must hold an ILS (International Life Saving Federation) Certification.
• Demonstrated ability to complete a 100-meter swim test in under 1 minute and 50 seconds.
• Excellent skills in rescue techniques, communication, and customer service.
• Previous experience in pool operations and water safety is considered advantageous.

This is a full-time, onsite position located in Zone 7, Doha, Qatar.
