Role Overview
As a key member reporting to the Senior Supply Chain Manager, you will play an essential role in facilitating Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and supporting product lifecycle processes. Your efforts will ensure the precision and timely update of system data, which is critical for efficient planning, scheduling, warehousing, and execution aligned with Dexcom's operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, verify, and maintain master data necessary for purchasing (buy items), production planning (make items), warehousing, and inventory functions.
- Maintain data integrity and completeness within ERP systems.
- Assist with the coordination and execution of Engineering Change Orders across make and buy items, updating system data according to approved modifications, monitoring ECO progress, and escalating issues as needed.
- Manage part phase-in and phase-out activities along with product revision updates.
- Ensure that system updates accurately support production and procurement readiness.
- Provide reliable data inputs to facilitate Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and overall planning activities.
- Help resolve data-related challenges impacting supply chain workflows.
- Identify opportunities to enhance data accuracy and optimize related processes.
- Adhere to established data governance and change control policies.
Qualifications and Skills
- Exposure to master data management, planning, and purchasing processes.
- Understanding of item master data structures.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with Outlook, Teams, and Smartsheets; knowledge of Copilot is a plus.
- Experience working within the medical device or consumer packaged goods (CPG) sectors.
- Familiarity with Oracle EBS, Oracle Fusion, PLM, and Anaplan systems is advantageous.
Education and Experience
A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related discipline is typically required, alongside 2 to 5 years of relevant professional experience.
