Position Overview
This role leads the supply chain commercialization of all new product development (NPD) and product change management across manufacturing facilities. Managing importation of NPD from international PepsiCo sites is also a key responsibility. The role supports the development of the ANZ commercial calendar aspects and supply chain requirements necessary to drive innovation activation.
Risk evaluation across the supply base is essential, with plans implemented to mitigate risks such as continuity and financial stability. The candidate will ensure co-packing partners adhere to PepsiCo standards and corporate values.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Commercialisation and R&D teams to comprehend long-term innovation pipelines including Business Breakthrough, Category Reframe, and Brand Refresh projects.
- Partner with Commercialisation, R&D, and Supply Chain functions to formulate manufacturing and supplier strategies.
- Ensure timely and complete execution of innovation and change initiatives by coordinating cross-functional supply chain teams at both head office and manufacturing sites.
- Lead continuous performance enhancement initiatives focusing on Quality, Cost (including productivity), and service metrics for assigned projects.
- Advocate and uphold workplace health, safety, and welfare standards.
- Perform all tasks in compliance with environmental policies, supporting continual environmental performance improvement based on annual plans.
Qualifications and Skills
- Background in Operations or Manufacturing is mandatory.
- Demonstrated strong project leadership capabilities.
- Proven experience delivering large-scale projects or major business transformations.
- In-depth understanding of innovation commercialization processes.
- High commercial and financial acumen with organizational savvy.
- Strong commercial negotiation and communication skills.
