Role Overview

We are seeking a Strategic Sourcing Executive to join our growing team. Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, this role focuses on identifying, assessing, and securing innovative healthcare products, technologies, and strategic supplier partnerships that bolster Mediteq's long-term commercial expansion. This position plays a vital role in supplier engagement, market research, and strategic procurement to widen Mediteq's portfolio while ensuring alignment with customer needs, industry trends, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and establish strategic partnerships with new healthcare manufacturers, suppliers, and commercial allies.
• Investigate emerging healthcare products, technologies, and market tendencies to pinpoint growth opportunities for the portfolio.
• Perform supplier due diligence, commercial assessments, and market analyses to inform strategic sourcing choices.
• Assist in negotiating commercial contracts, supplier agreements, and sourcing opportunities.
• Develop business cases and provide commercial recommendations for product introductions and strategic projects.
• Track competitor activities, pricing changes, and industry progress to reinforce Mediteq's market position.
• Collaborate with teams from Commercial, Sales, Marketing, Regulatory, and Operations to facilitate successful product launches and business growth.
• Support public sector tender processes by sourcing suitable products, manufacturers, and procurement opportunities.
• Maintain strong ongoing supplier relationships to encourage collaboration, innovation, and access to new products and technologies.
• Represent Mediteq at supplier meetings, industry functions, and exhibitions while keeping detailed records of sourcing, suppliers, and market intelligence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related discipline.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in hospital procurement, supply chain, or healthcare business development.
• Proven negotiation and contract management skills.
• Understanding of healthcare regulations and experience working with medical supply vendors.
• Excellent communication, analytical capabilities, and aptitude for cross-functional collaboration.
