We are seeking a Strategic Advisory Lead to head the growth and execution of our strategic advisory services throughout Australia. In this senior leadership position, you will guide a skilled consulting team, work closely with the Director to develop our advisory capabilities, and forge trusted partnerships with clients facing challenges related to transformation, digital innovation, sustainability, and asset strategy. This position is based in Melbourne, Australia but open to candidates across the country.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage delivery of complex, high-value advisory projects for major Australian clients.
- Collaborate with the Director to refine and evolve the strategic advisory portfolio aligned with regional goals.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships that foster business growth and pipeline development.
- Coordinate with regional teams to integrate shared methodologies and intellectual capital.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing consulting team driven by Egis' core principles of people-first culture, accountability, and innovation.
- Enhance team capabilities by coaching and mentoring, providing professional development opportunities.
- Champion innovation through new ideas, digital tools, and continuous process improvements within service delivery.
Candidate Requirements
- Extensive experience in management consulting or strategic advisory, preferably related to infrastructure, built environment, or similar sectors, with a record of leading high-stakes client engagements.
- Tertiary education in business, engineering, economics, or a related field; postgraduate qualifications are advantageous.
- Proven ability to spearhead complex advisory initiatives covering transformation, digital, sustainability, and/or asset strategy.
- A well-established professional network combined with strong commercial insight to identify and secure new business opportunities.
- Demonstrated leadership prowess in building, mentoring, and inspiring consulting teams to high performance.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills at senior client and partner levels.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with ability to distill complex issues into clear, persuasive solutions.
- A collaborative approach, capable of working effectively across both regional and global teams.
