Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead our store located in Cork, Ireland (postcode T12 RR29). This role offers a dynamic, hands-on opportunity in a fast-paced retail environment where you'll oversee daily store operations, drive sales growth, and maintain exceptional customer and store standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and oversee day-to-day store activities to achieve sales goals while managing expenses and employee budgets.
- Inspire, lead, and develop the store team to provide excellent customer service and operational effectiveness.
- Recruit, train, and set performance benchmarks for staff members.
- Manage scheduling, forecast staffing requirements, and ensure smooth store operations.
- Analyze management reports to assess performance, plan tasks, and implement sales strategies.
- Ensure attractive visual merchandising and overall store presentation.
- Maintain a safe and secure working environment and enforce security protocols.
- Participate in business improvement initiatives and support other stores when necessary.
- Handle cash management duties, including Point of Sale (POS) operations, end-of-day reconciliations, cash safe management, and G4S lodgements.
- Serve as a keyholder responsible for store opening, closing, and security duties.
